Classics and Avant-garde
„Classics and Avant-garde” is a unique product, which includes variety of innovative components.
The project idea is to promote classical music among society through the application of innovative ideas and practices, which will support candidacy of a Bulgarian city for European capital of culture in 2019.
Main project goals:
Reach the general public;
Create opportunities for young Bulgarian musical talents;
Attract partners (Embassies, cultural institutions, donors, business, etc.)
Develop possibilities for young Bulgarian and foreign performers to do concerts in Bulgaria.
NGO „Arte Classica” works on a project “Sofia Welcomes Europe and the World”, which promotes classical music and young talents of Bulgaria. The project is funded by Sofia Municipality, Program Europe 2014 and it also endorses the candidacy of Sofia and Southwest Region for European Capital of Culture 2019.

reach broad audience

promote Sofia as a cultural center of Europe for classical music through cooperation with a network of partners (embassies, cultural institutes, business and academia)

provide opportunities for young music talents in Bulgaria
